I love Odyssey’s vision:

Odyssey connects innovative ideas with governmental, corporate, and non-profit partners to address complex societal challenges using blockchain, AI, and other emerging technologies.

I also love Odyssey’s dedication to pursue this mission through diversity.

Unfortunately, self-sovereign identity is the product of a homogenous group (psychologists, sociologists, and ecologists are conspicuous by their absence), and while its ambitions are tantalising, the emergent consequences are very poor.

I explain this further here on Medium: generative identity — beyond self-sovereignty.

We have also made a call for an interdisciplinary working group should Odyssey be interested in helping to lead this work :-)
